ROYAL CANIN® Gastrointestinal Kitten is a balanced, nutrient-rich recipe specially developed to support healthy digestion in kittens with gastrointestinal problems.
Healthy digestion
This highly digestible recipe has been enriched with a balanced blend of insoluble and soluble fibres, including prebiotics, to support healthy digestion and intestinal function.
Optimal growth
This energy-rich recipe contains suitable amounts of nutrients such as protein and calcium, which a growing kitten needs to meet its nutritional requirements for healthy development.
Easy soaking
The kibbles can easily be soaked to encourage food intake in kittens with a reduced appetite. This can also help make the transition from milk to solid food easier. Add a little water that is not too hot to the measured portion of pet food, stir and leave to stand for a few minutes. Before feeding, check that the food is no longer too hot for your kitten.
Important note
This product is a veterinary diet from the Veterinary Health Nutrition range by ROYAL CANIN®. It is therefore important that this pet food is only fed on the recommendation of a veterinary surgeon. This helps ensure that your pet receives exactly the food it needs. Any change of diet should be introduced carefully and gradually over a period of 7–10 days. Make sure that the portion size is correct, particularly when combining wet and dry pet food.
Suitable for mixed feeding
To cater to the individual preferences of all kittens, ROYAL CANIN® Gastrointestinal Kitten is also available as wet pet food with a very soft mousse texture (Ultra Soft Mousse).* Mixed feeding provides different textures, which can help stimulate appetite. Wet pet food has a more intense aroma, and its moisture content helps regulate the animal's fluid balance. Dry pet food, on the other hand, is easier to portion and is beneficial for the teeth.
